Born in 1927, he is the head of the ENT Department at the Public Institute of Pediatrics in Trieste. He is the author of 160 articles, co-founder of the Italian Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, chairman of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Committee at IFOS, and secretary of the European Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He has collaborated with Polish pediatric otolaryngology centers since 1970, facilitating the participation of Polish colleagues in foreign internships, and actively participating in Polish congresses. He is the author of chapters in Pediatric Laryngology (PZWL – Warsaw).
