The motion was passed at the General Meeting of Delegates of the Polish Society of Orthopaedic Physicians and Surgeons in Warsaw on May 30, 1986, at the request of Prof. Zygmunt Szmeja.
He is the Head of the Otolaryngology Clinic at the University of Halle. He has collaborated for years with the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Medical University of Poznań in the fields of oncology and otoneurology. Research assistants from both clinics participate in research internships and meet for joint scientific meetings.
