She received the title of professor of medicine in 1999. From 1996 to 2006, she headed the Department and Clinic of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of Wrocław.
Her primary clinical and research activities include otology, otoneurology, audiology, and the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, and balance disorders. She has extensive and innovative research in labyrinthology. She established a labyrinthology research center in Wrocław, one of the leading centers in the country. She introduced practical and theoretical principles of kinesiotherapy for vertigo and balance disorders into Polish literature.
She has supervised 12 doctors of medicine.
