Since October 1, 2001, he has headed the Department of Anatomy and Anthropology at the University of Physical Education in Katowice. Previously, he worked at the 1st Department and Clinic of Otolaryngology at the Silesian Medical University in Katowice, where he earned the title of professor in 2000. His scientific achievements include over 200 publications, many of which have been published in renowned international journals. He is a member of the European Materials Research Society and chairman of the Senate Bioethics Committee of the University of Physical Education. He runs the Otolaryngology Clinic at the Radiotherapy Center in Katowice. For many years, he has conducted interdisciplinary research, including with the 2nd Department and Clinic of Otolaryngology in Zabrze, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, and the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice. He is the applicant for the Silesian-Opole Branch of the PTOLChGiSz.
