Since 1967, she has been employed at the Department and Clinic of Otolaryngology, Medical University of Krakow. She has authored and co-authored over 130 scientific papers and supervised and reviewed doctoral theses. In 1977, she introduced ERA testing in newborns and BERA testing in 1987. In 1992, she began testing otoacoustic emissions at the Krakow Clinic, and in 1994, she implemented high-frequency audiometry. For many years, Prof. Dr. E. Reroń served as the Chair of the Krakow Branch of the Polish Society of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine. From 1991 to 1993, she served as the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Polish Society of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine. She is a member and founder of the Polish Branch of the International Society of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine.
