Head of the Otolaryngology Clinic in Antwerp, Belgium. He also directs the Experimental Otology Laboratory of the Department of Bioelectronics and the Institute for Deaf Children in Antwerp. Editor-in-Chief of the IFOS Newsletter and member of the IFOS Executive Board. Treasurer and member of the Executive Board of the European Academy of Otology and Neurootology. He maintains particularly friendly relations with Poland.
