In accordance with the Resolution of the Main Board of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists \u2013 Head and Neck Surgeons dated October 10, 2022, regarding the determination of the annual membership fee and the subscription fee for the journals Polish Otolaryngology<\/em> and Polish Otolaryngological Review<\/em>, the annual membership fee has been increased from PLN 70 to PLN 100 starting in 2023. Additionally, a fee of PLN 250 has been established for a combined subscription to Polish Otolaryngology<\/em> and Polish Otolaryngological Review<\/em>. The total annual payment is therefore PLN 350.<\/strong><\/p>

Please note that since 2017, all annual membership payments must be made exclusively through the online payment system dedicated to Society members.<\/p>

There, you will find all necessary information regarding payment procedures for current and previous years.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Since 2017, all membership fees are paid to a single, dedicated bank account established for this purpose\u2014valid for all regional branches of the Society. Please do not make payments to the old bank accounts of individual regional branches.<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The administrator of the system is Index Copernicus, the publisher of the Society\u2019s scientific journals. Since 2017, Index Copernicus has been responsible for processing payments, issuing payment confirmations (which serve as proof of active membership status), and providing VAT invoices for journal subscriptions.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

We would like to remind you that, in accordance with \u00a714(3) of the Society\u2019s Statute, members are obliged to pay the annual membership fee regularly in order to obtain or maintain the status of an ordinary member, as specified in \u00a714(3) and \u00a715(4) of the Statute.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

According to the resolution adopted by the Society\u2019s General Assembly of Delegates on June 15, 2016, starting in 2017, the membership fee includes a subscription to one of the Society\u2019s scientific journals: Polish Otolaryngology<\/em> (bimonthly) or Polish Otolaryngological Review<\/em> (quarterly).<\/p>

Honorary Members of the Society are exempt from paying the annual membership fee.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Ordinary members of the Society are entitled to:<\/p>

  1. Discounted registration fees for scientific and training conferences held under the Society\u2019s patronage.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Free access to current digital editions of the Society\u2019s scientific journals, according to the selected membership fee variant.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
